Day 1: Sacred Valley One Day Tour

The Sacred Valley is located at 2800 meters above sea level (9,186 feet)

During this tour we will discover the wonderful landscape of the Sacred Valley, home to several royal estates of Incan emperors.
First, you will visit the town of Pisac, famous for its indigenous market and for the beautiful Incan ruins that overlooks the city. In the market, you will have the opportunity to browse the beautiful handicrafts, local fruits, vegetables, and other natural products. While exploring the Pisac ruins above, you’ll be delighted by the magic of the valley, its architecture will allow you to understand the harmony between the inca constructions and the nature.
After visiting Pisac, we will stop for lunch, we’ll enjoy a variety of Peruvian food near the town of Urubamba. Next, we’ll visit the spectacular fortress of Ollantaytambo. This magnificent place was part of the royal estate of the Incan emperor Pachacuteq. The small town of Ollantaytambo still keeps the houses that Inca used to live in, narrow streets and beautiful canals are part of this.
Finally, we’ll visit the famous town of Chincheros, 20 min away from Cusco, where expert weavers offer you a fine work made from alpaca fiber and beautiful colors.
Late afternoon, return to your hotel in Cusco.
